Principle and Operation
Rospen Industries, VIBO, vibratory
flow meter offers an alternative to continuous weigh belt or screw
systems. It is ideal for weighing friable products such as potato
crisps, extruded snack foods, chemical agglomerates, spray dried
milk powder and biscuits, measuring the flow of the product as
it passes along a stainless steel vibratory tray.
The VIBO comprises of an electro or mechanically driven vibratory
tray mounted on a Rospen, Boss-Mount weighframe, operationally,
the weight of the conveyor is tared off enabling the weight of
the product to be continuously and precisely measured. Controlled
by a Rospen PLC it displays the conveying rate as kg/hr and total
output in kilograms.
